How do I say this without sounding like I’m scolding you?

Let’s Chat, Family Photographer (& Mom) to Fellow Parent

Let me step down from my soapbox first and try to appeal to the nostalgic side of this question.
You know that box of old photos and/or photo albums you enjoyed flipping through when you visited your parent’s or grandparent’s house?  The sad truth is, the beautiful photo of you loving on your little one that you took on your phone or camera will likely never be held, cherished or even remembered by your children because they will never see it printed anywhere.  Sure you posted it on your Instagram feed, but how long do you think it will be remembered?
The answer is… probably until you post your next photo, right?

The Setting

Think about it for a second.  Think of all the moments we lose on our phones and computers.
The only photo you have with your great grandma who just passed, your little one digging into his/her 1st
birthday cake, the photo you snapped as you fought away tears when you dropped your child off at
kindergarten or college, the sweet selfie you took with your husband on your anniversary.

Next your toddler throws your phone and it breaks or it pops out of your pocket in the cab you just took
and you never get it back.  And then you also remember that you never backed up your photos to iCloud or anywhere?
Any chance of getting those moments, YOUR MOMENTS, back are gone. Forever. 😫

Photos are often left to be forgotten or lost on smart phones,
leaving you (and your future generations) with nothing tangible to grasp between your fingertips.
Whether you’re a photographer or mom or dad with an iPhone, PLEASE print your photos.
Maybe not ALL of them, but definitely the ones you love❣️

I’m Here For You

I know it’s not always convenient, but it is more convenient now than it has ever been.
Trust me, whatever time it takes is worth it’s weight in gold.  Your memories are worth their weight in gold!
Or better yet, if you don’t want to do it yourself, hire a family photographer (me 🙂 and let her create
an album or framed gallery that you and your family can enjoy and cherish forever through the generations.
